The trucks left the depot at seven. At six in the evening you get a book, a phone call, or a photograph of a page. The stop that went wrong went wrong at half past nine. You hear about it after the shop has shut and the cash has moved.
The same lag sits under every scorecard review and every allocation decision. Nobody was slow. Nobody was looking, because there was nothing to look at until the paperwork came back.

Your reps carry the route on a phone. You see each stop land while the trucks are still out: the sale, the cash, the credit, the returns.
When the rep finishes a stop, the invoice, the stock movement, the cash and the receipt post together as one entry. It runs a full day with no signal and posts when the phone finds network. Finance, stock, sales and payroll sit in the same books, in shillings, double-entry on every line.
